Lesson from Stupa.

“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” – Marcel Proust

The peace and prayers come out from the soul of the body. The Swayambhunath Stupa is the site where we can find entire thing what our soul wants. The word Swayambhu itself says “self-created or self-existent”.  The temple is at the top of the hill which gives the power and energy to the mind and the body. This place has secretes within itself which can be only observed when it is touched or seen with our own eyes. It’s the place to practice the meditation to know our self better and better.  There’s a special thing about this place is that on each of the four sides of the main stupa there is a pair of big eyes. These eyes are symbolic of God’s all-seeing perspective and above each pair of eyes, there is another eye, the third eye which signifies the wisdom of looking within our soul. No ears are shown because it is said that Buddha is not interested in hearing prayers in praise of him. The same thing can be applied within in our own life, we have ears so just try to listen what I want to listen from others. The eyes play the roles of seeing the people what they have and what they can do. To reach the temple we have to walk on the hill with having peace in mind and have hope in the soul then only we are able to understand why this stupa is made and what it gives me back?
